BACKGROUND

Madeline started her career in journalism at IT Week in 2000, first as editorial assistant and then moving rapidly to reporter. She became Management Editor in 2003, and then progressed to News Editor in 2004.

In January 2007, Madeline was promoted to Deputy Editor. As well as taking on new responsibilities, she will continue her news editor duties for the foreseeable future. Madeline is also responsible for IT Week’s weekly podcast.

Prior to joining IT Week, Madeline was an English teacher at a secondary school in London.
