BACKGROUND

Lem has worked as a journalist in the IT sector since June 1994. Before joining IT Week's launch team in March 1998, Lem served as Editor of Software Futures, a journal analysing the strategies of major software suppliers, and as Deputy Editor of D3, a magazine for software developers.

At IT Week Lem was originally Software Editor, and then Managing Editor from March 2000. He was appointed Editor in June 2004.

Lem is a graduate of Sussex University, where he gained a first class BSc and a doctorate in electronic engineering.
